Scammers, Immigrant Parents, and Astrology

In this chapter, they discuss how scammers have downgraded their demands from $20,000 to $1,000 and how they use different tactics to persuade people to send them money. They also discuss whether their parents read their work, with one of them mentioning that their mom liked their work and felt affirmed by it. They then talk about how immigrant parents often have a defensive and shame-based construct relation to the world, and that their parents sometimes engage in infighting to gain supremacy for their particular narcissistic vision.
