The Immorality of God's People

Saul was a donkey herder from Benjamin and David David was a shepherd from Judah. The text juxtaposes these two things, how the text juxtapose these two things. And so you see there with the rest of the kings, you have a split kingdom with Israel in the north and Judah in the south. It's just a big huge narrative portion of his history that's just about mistrust and chaos.
