The European Central Bank Expects a Rate Hike of 25 Basis Points

The Bank of Japan is widely expected to leave its ultra-loose monetary policy unchanged today. Most economists in a Bloomberg survey predicted the BOJ's negative rate policy and yield curve control program will be kept the same. ECB President Christine Lagarde said the outlook for both economic growth and inflation remain highly uncertain.
