In 2020, Justice Points the Way to a New Normal

In 2020, black people are over four times more likely to die from the coronavirus. But we are also fighting with a more invasive and resistant virus of racism. I have a dream that the post-COVID new normal world is one in which institutional racism is rendered to history. Healing from racial injustice needs truth and reconciliation at a societal, institutional and personal level. It seems so absurd to lump together so many different ethnic communities just because it forms an acronym with vowels and convenient locations. Much better when talking about different ethnicities to be as specific as possible.
