How to Talk to Your Clients About Performance and Speed
If I'm on a fixed price data plan, and my children's school has a massive video on the homepage of their school website with lots of happy kids running around the playground. That's not very respectful to me when I'm trying to go about my daily life. It'll probably mean the homepage is a little bit slower,. which won't be as good for core web vitals and for search. So whether or not they care about the planet, they should be caring about the performance of their website.
