The panam flight is recorded acknowledging the first and second taxi ways, but they miss the third one. The tower then advised both planes that the runway center line lights were out of service. A study done by the airline pilots association concluded that the turn on o that third taxiway they were supposed to take, it wouldhave been practically impossible.
