The Importance of an Industrial Strategy
The UK has one of the most dynamic and vibrant energy sectors. But we've got this monopoly, highly regulated grid and distribution system. It used to have to put on one new coal power station every five years. Now it's got to put on an enormous number of new generation sources. We need a little bit of the industrial revolution spirit here in terms of using our innovative capabilities that we see at universities and startups.
