The Communist Revolution in the Pre-Industrial Society
Deng Xiaoping said later in the 1970s after Mao had passed away mercifully, that we're not going to do that anymore. We still committed to the Leninist vision of a vanguard transforming society but we're not doing it through brutal authoritarian means. The second represent was Chinese culture; so as China was being transformed into this wealthy prosperous society, it must always adhere to Chinese cultural characteristics.
