History of the Battles of Arthur in Historia Britonu
The names of the battles fall into two rhyming series. The first cluster end in a ras sound, like saras. And then the second series all end in an own sound, like badon for mount baden. So it seems as if probably this list of battles that nenius puts into his historia was taken from a bardic song or poem which was composed to rhyme and to be recited from memory. But thereis really nothing more that we can trust from that putative source.
