Antigone's Challenge to Creon's Decree
I think we should perhaps consider this on several levels, at least two, perhaps. One is that in her challenging Creon's decree, of course, I think it's completely wrong to simply define this in terms of like public state or public law. On the other hand, Creon is also does not simply embody public law in general. He embodies a very particular law and a very particular state or city as it was called then. So, this is an important theme all throughout the the theme and theology, I mean also the two edifice places.
