Nomological Versus Mechanistic

Nomological denotes something resembling general laws especially laws that lack logical necessity or theoretical underpinnings they just are. Mechanistic is about basically talking about cause and effect basically talking about something happened because something came before so I'm going to try to explain this to you by Parani with lots of examples which aren't maybe synonymous but closely related to the idea of nomological versus mechanistic. We'll get into that a bit further in detail later when we talk about cognitive styles and two cognitive sciences.
