Industrial Strategy Is a Deliberate Strategy to Do Nothing
Research and develtment has stood in for industrial whenever there were demands to do something about the competitors prtis industry. It is important to recognize that kind of industrial strategy is actually a deliberate strategy to do nothing, to pretend to do soman. I think we need left to take a much more critical view of british inevativeness in that direction of policy than we have hitherto. But at stake here? The point is you get a hell of a lot of p r for 50 ts. And that's really what they were after.
