The game is more of an exploration game. You are only out at night, and you have limited time to explore the surroundings and find food,. And to find food, you can use the sense of the Fox. The forest gets cut down more, the river is more polluted every day or every night in this case. It's very dangerous outside because of humans that are also trying to survive.
