"I'm not hanging out with Americans anymore. Ironically, I've never had more American friends in my life," she says. "It's a different breed of person who makes the journey and goes through the obstacles ... that you have to go through when you move abroad." She adds: "The internationalness of a big city is like always having different people passing through".
