Film Review - The Duel

The film critic uses the duel to describe this process, spilberg's first film. He says fantasy solves the impossibility presented by the gaze Yet phantasy constructs a scene in which the juisence of desire is concentrated on one person who stole it from us. The viewer never encounters the gaze, which is the problem of annihilation.
