The Blind Spot in Design Thinking

A lot of design research is really focused on user research. I describe organizations as the social context in which decisions are made. If you don't understand that, then you might come up with something that makes perfect sense for the user or for the customer. And the organization can't produce it, can't support it, will resist it. Design thinking doesn't touch on the organization at all.
