"I love neurotech, but I don't think we're going to alter this memory for you and just like fix it a little bit," he says. "We have an opportunity to move beyond an assistant that would be able to tag things for me ... which is great." He thinks people are good at salience detectors because they keep all of those things in their mind. 'In this vast space there's lots of interesting things,' the engineer adds.
