Renoir's Maury So
Her career coincides with a rediscovery of 18th century painting. She painted intimate interiors with young women in various states of undress. Renoir later described Maury so's work as having a kind of virginal quality. Her colleagues, Dergär, Manet, Monet and Renoir all admired her enormously.
