I wonder if you think that those scandals that have happened since you've left the Met. whether they've affected the way that you look back on your experience. It's been really curious actually having this time like between finishing policing and working on it, thinking about it,. then almost seeing this kind of slow reveal of the things that had really troubled me while I was policing becoming more and more visible to the public. So certainly the experience of reflecting on policing has been formative for me. And so this is a book written about a moment a few years ago, but also written in the light of what we've come to learn over the last few years.
