Is There a Router?

Within the routing table, could there be multiple alternative routes to the same range? Or as something else, the thing built the writing table already decided what is the best route if there were multiple routes. In my om computer, then i av a simple writing table, sayin anything that's not on my local network, send it up to my i s p. Because it's connecting two everything is going to go to one of a number of carriers or teer one,. So it only has to group things into eight or ten buckets to know which carrier. Yes. But the thing is, it's like a from the standpoint of the first roter that doesn't have any many options.
