Paus and lithuenians are very self consciously proud of this republic. The commonwealth is a refuge for persecutors religious minorities across europe, like the menonites who come from the netherlands,. And later on, the scots arrive as well. Jewish people administer self through the so called parliament of four lands which deals with taxation, but also has some judicial responsibilities.
