Paradise Lost is an epic poem in blank verse consisting of some people say there's different printings. In 1663, Milton marries his third wife, and then woman named Elizabeth Minchle. This is a 31 year age gap. According to Milton's nephew, Edward Phillips, this one oppressed Milton's children in his lifetime and cheated them at his death. The poem concerns the biblical story of the fall of man, the temptation of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel Satan,. It also concerns the war in heaven and the population of hell.
