Patrick henry ups the anti he calls for raising a militia and delivers one of his eloquent, biblically infused speeches. He concludes by asking rhetorically, is life so dear? Or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?" And this is where and when those famous words are spoken.
