Calvinists - Did You Lose a Lot of Friends?
The elders and the pastor at my Calvinist church as well as my seminary professors, et cetera, were in fact sophisticated enough to realize that the usual polemics were rather thin. They had internal reasons why they themselves did not become Catholic. And really, looking back on it, he really was much respected and loved outside of the Catholic church by other Christians who just loved Jesus since this man was authentic.
