How to Brainwash a POW

The Korean and Chinese captors of these POWs did in fact have a systematic process of brainwashing in place. Chairman Mao, um, actually wrote about it as far back as 1929. The main phases in that lift out the self-loathing which is one way to do it. It's based on real psychology but can also be done with torture techniques like sleep deprivation.
