I think he really in the beginning thought that this was going to be something else. And so it wasn't until we were sitting with the doctor who had the bone marrow biopsy in his hand and he said it is multiple myeloma that my husband really, I think, started to process it and take it on. This has been a real challenge for our relationship, especially because it happened at the same time that we had a baby and several months into it, we entered into lockdown. So it's not like the fun loving laugh a minute time that we were having early on. It's been really challenging in that way.
