The Sign of Our Sick Becomes the Symbol of Our Hope
Moses intercedes on behalf of the people and God says, you make a fiery serpent or a bronze serpent. And as often as people look upon it, they will be healed. When we cast our eyes upon Jesus Christ crucified, our salvation is given to us in this unique powerful way. What happens in Christianity is the sign of our shame becomes the symbol of our hope.
