The traditional view of orengzeb as his austere religious biggort is not quite true either, says the author. The divisions did not fall along the lines of sitis versus olimer or sophies vs supie. For example, among sophies there were supies who leaned towards the more ic sides of the side of things. And then there were supis who espoused a more sober form of religiosity.
