The Importance of Reporting Climate Change Impacts

The language of calling it a threshold is a little bit confusing, I think. It's not like once you cross over this quote unquote threshold, you're in an irreversible new state or something like that. So if our climate target was to not rise even temporarily above 1.5 degrees, two months after we signed the Paris Agreement, we went over 1.5 degree. If that's your definition of breaking theParis Agreement, then we've broke it many, many, many times. But that's not what it is. It's a climate. It'm not a temporary rise.
