The Purpose of Creation Is Friendship

The purpose of creation is friendship. God wants to be our friend. Love, friendship, these things. That's kind of what you just said. Communion is what we'd call it, right? And I'm sure you'll delineate that. But that's just a very interesting thing to think about. The Rocky Mountains, the trees outside of this window here, all of creation is made for love, for friendship. Those words are emptied of their deep significance in our modern day.
