The Separation of Powers
separation of powers is to insure that one branch of government cannot become too powerful. It basically stopsa president from being able to rule a country like a king or a dictator. Most countries have some form of separation of powers, but the uk is an example of a country without a strict ration of powers. In the u k, the free branches of government are much closer than in the us.
