The Different Trade Networks in the Congo

Kanchasa in the south-west of the country is able to receive goods through its major ports. People in the east would have to wait a very long time and go through some great hardships to receive any of those goods coming into Kanchasa. The foodstuffs, people consume, are actually not from the Congo so a lot of the rice and sugar comes from south and southeast Asia. A lot of the meat and chicken comes from South Africa and Europe. Very little comes to the Kivuz from Kanchasa other than money from the central bank.
