Is it true that she went out and joined the crowds in front of Buckingham Palace? She was in her ATS uniform and initially she's going to put the cap down so that you didn't realise who she was but one of the officers. So she went out there and lots of people, that isn't Princess Elizabeth going past it, no, it can't be. They went out there, they joined arms, they were dancing, I mean, there was all kinds of stuff going on there at the time,. There was a lot of drinking and a lot of sort of carousing, so these two innocent princesses were exposed to all kinds of behaviour. It was such an exciting moment
