The Last Day of a Six-Month Window
The Foreign Office say that the abduction of a child from the UK to Pakistan is not automatically considered a crime locally. The High Court in London did make an order to the High Court in Pakistan for them to be returned, but obviously that didn't go anywhere. There's the Hague Convention as well, which is meant to help with getting back abducted children. But the UK said it didn't really apply to Pakistan because they didn't sign up to it now.
