Introduction

The musk duck is a dark grey water bird and they have small stubby wings. Musk ducks are usually found in the southeast and southwest of Australia. A local bird watcher named Mark Carter heard that someone had spotted one in Alice Springs, more than 600 kilometres from home. We'll learn about a programme that's helping indigenous teenagers become the first high school graduates in their family.
