When the klm plane landed, it was first decided the passengers were all going to stay on the plane. But then after about 20 minutes, they decided to go ahead and let the passengers off the plane and wait in the terminal. The passengers on the panam flight stayed on the plane the whole time. Eventually, authorities reopened the grand canaria airport. And the pan am flight was ready to take off. They couldn't because that k l m plane was blocking their path. It took about five minutes for them to refuel. When they were all done, the passengers were allowed back on to the plane. However, there was a dutch family of four whom they couldn't find
