Cooper: I think he claims explicitly or at least it's implied that, you know, you can read these series in any order because they relate to each other differentially. But I actually think this is really unhelpful. What I'd strongly suggest is reading The Logic of Census from the first series all the way through to the end,. Then go back and start reading the series in different orders in order to make those connections. Read them successfully because they do progressively develop particular ideas.
