Turkey's History

The Turkish government has a very nationalistic and very Islamic tone. Pro-government media outlets have said Turkey's economy was under an attack by foreign forces that didn't want this country to be a leader in its region. Thousands of people have been investigated and arrested in recent years on charges of insulting President Erdogan.
