I Am a Stochastic Parrot. We Should Explain a Little Bit

What we talk about today might seem faintly ridiculous in six months time because these are all works in progress. There are probably people working in labs on equally powerful, more powerful models,. even now sounds like and having read your paper. It reads like you are not one of the economists who so far come out with the opinion that these large language models are just overhyped. I see it's rather famously being described as a stochastic parrot. We ought to explain a little bit. If we want to understand how our capabilities, the capabilities of human brains relate and compare to the capabilities of these language models, we really need to adjust our understanding of the world alittle bit. The
