The Bank of England has effectively started QE again by buying long term government bonds. This is an unusual move, but in an inflationary environment, big part of what's going on in the world and why so many economies are struggling is because of high inflation. Now explaining what's exactly happened with the pension companies and why they've come onto so much pressure is a podcast in itself or a YouTube video.
