The Wrong Way to Talk to the Other Side of the Agony

There are many committed, bone-deep Trump supporters out in rural America. But those people are outnumbered by the folks who just voted for him. The vast, vast majority of rural Americans don't want to become violent insurgents. They do want their world to stop falling apart. More than anything, they want to have hope for the future. We should be focusing on finding solutions to problems that we can all see together.
