Moats Are Visceral Intimidation and That's Part of It

A moat part of its job is just intimidation like its mere presence and the size of it intimidates would be competitors from even attempting to cross that boundary or do that. Things that look hard to do or hard to copy generally don't attract as many folks to them by definition. If you said Google you think about searching the entire internet there's a moat right there around how many people know or even have a clue about how to start to do that? That reaction implies that they don't see like a big moat or something difficult to overcome, he says.
