Aren't Folk Traditions and Reactionary Politics the Same?
There have been attempts to tie together folk traditions and reactionary politics. Fay says there is a sort of diversity in this material, which we might not always recognize. A recent paperas just come out suggesting that sharpas have vacious tendencies. The very fact it's still being debated means that that what's in people's heads. And for me, as an academic, i sort of look at how people engage with music rather than the fact he was a fachist or not.
