The Development of the Trinity in the Early Church
Ask Ligonier: Can you give a brief example of the progression of a particular doctrine? We oftentimes think of multiple sections in terms of history. The Trinity is found in the word, but it took some time for us to formulate and articulate this theologically. And as they debated between our place in salvation, that gets developed further more during the reformation period.
