The Evolution of the Individual
I think that some of the answer lies in from my perspective. This, when you look at the evolutionary scale of the human species seems very clear to me. At a certain point on the evolutionary scale the individual as an actual concept of cherished concept was like a new invention. And slowly I think that that began as the as the record shows this switch and some would would point to things like the procession of the equinoxes etc. But regardless of the circumstances there's always there's always the balance of the collective and the self but the context has changed a bit over time.
