Politicians are not trained to think very long term. They look towards what can i get now, how is thet going to help me in my next election? That that's kind of the type of people politics attracts. And unfortunately, most of them don't have that low time preference allno. Once you do get into big corn you do start thinking about the stuff on like long work time scales. You're down 99 hundred per cent if you focus only on short-term gains. But if you're thinking in terms of bitcoin, it's going to weigh better.
