Socrates is something of a genius of the heart in his own way. He humbles those whom he bests in intellectual combat, you know, by disabusing them of ideas which are not really more than prejudices. The truly passionate person is a master of their own passions. And as we have already covered, the opposition eventually becomes of dionysus, not against socrates, but against christ.
