I love your analogy of, hey, let's be thoughtful because this thing could grow. Well, let's hope it's not a zero sum game. If this is a giant 10,000 piece puzzle, hopefully the AI and humans are solving this puzzle together. And I'd certainly like to double my lifespan and maybe preserve consciousness and understand what the hell the universe is. It does feel like this is going to tell us. But yes, I do believe you should make it extremely hard to mess up.
