The Importance of Morality

i think of everything as having value for its own sake including the beautiful things. i'm asking this question with vested interest because this is a continuous debate between mark and i about which values win. morality is a constraint so it's not a winner or a loser if you don't make a mistake bing a utilitarian you don't have to worry about this morality just constrains what you can do. meaning includes a lot of the things that you properly value in your moral life some of them play a big role that depends on your moral system but you have meaning and then you have morality that constrains your pursuit of meaning. rationality and morality are really just two ways of saying the same
