Paintings appear to have been painted on a piece of federal express shipping material, like the boxes that people used to put stuff in and mail something va ft x. Art world experts who were hired by the artworks owners did believe that they were indeed by baskiat. There was a big v ip opening this past february at the museum. Thousands of people turned up. It really was a celebratory moment, both for the museum and, i think for orlando at large.
